The greatest gift of all

Today, I was driving around doing some errands with my son. We stopped to get a slice of pizza, and I was asking him what he wanted for his birthday…He simply said to me “Mom, I don’t really care about physical gifts, I just want to be with you on that day”. Wow, I was in AWE….

My Birthday is the week after his. When he was born I said to myself “this child is my gift, the greatest gift of all”.

Now, many years later, he shares with me that he feels the same way!

The greatest gift of all….on both sides…

John 19:26 “When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, โ€œWoman, behold, your son!โ€

      1. My pleasure. Reminded me of my boys’ hearts. My youngest, aged around 6-ish, once said, “Mom, I’m glad you had me so young, it means I have more years with you.” I’m glad you too have that sweetness in your life.
