Wisdom From Elders

Today I spoke to my Uncle, who is the one that taught me how to pray :-).

It’s his Birthday, 78 years old today!

God bless him.

I remember way back then when I was a pre teen, he told me about God, how he can “save” us, and answered an array of questions I had, such as: ” So what about dinosaurs, did God tell people about them in the Bible? “

Everything he told me, he would show me the Bible verse to prove it.

This is how he taught me to pray:

  1. Thank God for all he has done
  2. Praise God, his name
  3. Ask for what you want and need
  4. Thank God, in faith that it will be done
  5. Seal it with his name

Over 20 years later I visited the Island he lives on, and got water baptized in the same church he used to take me to! Wow

Today, I shared with him that the teachings he shared about “the end times” are coming to pass today. Also, I reminded him of what he taught me that is instilled in me today. In-fact it is the very essence of my soul.

Dear God, Thank you for sending special people into my life, right when I need it. You are everything Lord.

I ask that you send out armies of angels to help all those in need. Please give them the desires of their hearts.

Thank you, In Jesus name Amen.

Bible Verses About Elders In The Church:

James 5:14 “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.”

1 Timothy 3:2 “Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach”

1 Timothy 5:17 “Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.
