There are times where one’s thoughts may sway, and think about all the things they don’t have, and all they are “missing out” on.
This is just human nature.
What is important is that we get ourselves out of that thinking, and be reminded of what we do have.
We can’t stay there, in the negative too long, the longer we dwell, the more damage can be done.
It’s good to face reality, however it’s even better to embrace our provisions.
Be thankful for it all.
Colossians 3:15 “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
I pray this every morning: “Dear God, Thank you for allowing us to wake up together, in this beautiful, and peaceful home, and for giving us freedom, food, shelter, clothing, good health, financial blessings, and more.”
We all have sadness, and areas in our lives that can be better, or should be better.
That is why God gave us the gift of Hope.
Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
