Happy International Nurses Day 2020

#NursingTheWorldToHealth

Today we celebrate nurses around the world, and the 200th anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale.

โ€œFlorence Nightingale (1820-1910), known as โ€œThe Lady With the Lamp,โ€ was a British nurse, social reformer and statistician best known as the founder of modern nursing. Her experiences as a nurse during the Crimean War were foundational in her views about sanitation. She established St. Thomasโ€™ Hospital and the Nightingale Training School for Nurses in 1860. Her efforts to reform healthcare greatly influenced the quality of care in the 19 and 20 centuries.โ€ Credits to History.com

Romans 12:13 โ€œShare with the Lordโ€™s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.โ€

God bless all the nurses around the world today working through this pandemic. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

3 John 1:2 โ€œDear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.โ€
