George Floyd ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

By now, most of us have seen the video, that shows a police officer pressing his knee on a mans neck, which lead to his death.

I feel a overload of emotions whenever I see an image, or video showing what occurred in Minneapolis, USA.

That police officer had a look of hatred, and evil on his face.

And Floyd of helplessness, and despair.

This is so sad to see. Words cannot express.

What is even worse is that this is not the first time an injustice like this happened to a colored person in America.

I pray for Floydโ€™s family and friends now, and for all the people that have experienced racism, and abuse.

Look at what is going on now, violent protests in several states.

Itโ€™s not just Covid-19 lockdown, but a war sparked by racism.

The protesters are angry. Itโ€™s been too much.

Now itโ€™s outa control, again.

God help all of them. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

  1. It has been a terrible week. We need God to change our hearts to stop the horrors going on. I hope you get to see the stories of those who are helping. Residents of Minneapolis are coming out in droves to help clean up the mess in their city.

  2. One of my favorite scriptures and a great reminder as we deal with the terrible events that have happened over the last few months. With the Coronavirus, the death of Ahmad Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, and damage being done by rioting, violence and looting itโ€™s easy to forget the good happening in the world. I pray for the families affected by these tragedies and I pray for Godโ€™s Kingdom which will bring true justice, equality and peace (Daniel 2:44; Psalms 37:10,11)

  3. It sickening to say the least that this has been ongoing for generations, I guess the good thing to come from this is that itโ€™s now waking up an ignorant world. Thank you for sharing – please feel free to read my latest post too, and let me know what you think.

  4. Amen. Bless u 4 that. Itโ€™s unfortunate that many people even in Christ have been complacent and rarely comes out from the comfort of the inside of our church walls and โ€œgo yeโ€ out into the trenches โ€œproactivelyโ€ because they truly spiritually care about all lives in that individuals would be saved. Yet we โ€œreactโ€ when our worst nightmare happens. As horrific as this was God was merciful since the inner city of 38th & Chicago where the killing of Mr. Floyd took place is a rough area but thank God for years the Lord a mere remnant of โ€œboots on the groundโ€œ prayer warriors, evangelists, some churches and a few pastors have prayed, fasted, evangelized, walked the grounds and saturated that very area. May intercession hover the city of Minneapolis.

  5. Thank you very much for this interesting post! It was great to read it and listen to your thoughts! I have recently published an article on my blog about the dangerous impact of violent protest and why non-violence is the only way to move forward and achieve equality in the black lives matter movement. If you have time, it would be great if you could check out my article and let me know your thoughts! Thank you and wishing you all the best during this period ๐Ÿ™‚
