Some feelings and thoughts are indeed,
Deep like an Ocean.
I like to compare a persons heart, and mind to the ocean.
Not everyone can just dive in, and see whats there.
There are parts that have never been, and never will be explored.
At times, we can just throw our emotions and perceptions in, so it cannot be brought up, or we don’t have to deal with it.
Seems to get lost in the depths.
Are all people deep like an ocean?
What does God say about this topic?
Here are some Bible verses below where the Ocean is mentioned:

Yes, I like this concept and feel we are like a deep ocean when it comes to our deepest thoughts and feelings because after all we are spiritual too and our souls are immortal so it stands to reason that our inner selves project much farther than the eye can see or the ear can hear the most far away thunder. We are all individual puzzles or mysteries even filled with many hidden treasures and also fears that can become nightmares when we sleep and our subconscious minds run wild and slip into overdrive bringing into territory that we dare not travel alone or don’t have the time when awake. Like an ocean there are many currents and eddies deep beneath the surface, this is why some people are hard to understand and indeed many do bizarre or very bad things that later others don’t understand why they did it! This is a very good reason right here as to why all humans should strive to know God and seek out the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ the Savior our protector because we are all incomplete and unable to figure it all out or find a secure final destination of any kind unless we have Him to bring us there; that’s the deal and no other way to look at it, plain and simple we need Him or we are done for. Just like one of my favorite Scriptures lays it out perfectly that my dear Mother said so often to me making me remember it like the back of my hand so this is important!
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
That’s it in a nutshell!
Another I love is this.
“Thus says the LORD: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come, He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” Jeremiah 17:5-13
Thank you for this good in depth thinking and meaningful contemplation.
Amen.
